Tea has a long history in Taiwanese and other Asian cultures. The Tea Ceremony is not only about technique and skills but the spirit of respecting nature and the search for inner peace. Tea ceremonies carry out the philosophy of “cha dao”, which means “the way of tea”; it is the experience of Zen, the experience of unity with the universe. Attendees will learn about various types of tea from Asia, experience a Taiwanese Tea Ceremony and enjoy tea tasting and sweets.
